What are Natural Wines?

As Jenny Lefcourt, my importer with Jenny and François Selections, defines it wonderfully: “Natural wines are low-tech or no-tech. These handmade wines in the truest sense are from a group of passionate winemakers that go one step further than organic and biodynamic producers by using organic methods in the cellar as well as in the vineyard — meaning no laboratory yeasts, enzymes, sugar, artificial concentrators, acidification, or sulfites are added during fermentation, and the wines are aged and bottled without stabilizers, or excessive filtering or sulfites.”

An extensive essay about Natural wines can be found at What is Natural Wines at Jenny’s Website.

This is my current list of Natural Wines wineries. Extensive information about each of the wineries and each of the wines can be found by clicking on the corresponding link.
